#1 - Wuai Market

Wu Ai Market (五爱市场) is the largest international trade centre in North China.  It sells wholesale to thousands of smaller shopss, and you can buy there too.  

In the "new" building (see photo), you can find souvenirs, wedding supplies, household & cleaning items, watches and jewelry, car accessories, small appliances, dishes and cookware, sports equipment, toys, umbrellas, plastic and paper bags, hair bows and barrettes, and so much (SO MUCH) more on the many floors.

In the building next door on the same street, you can find shoes, handbags, backpacks, belts, fakes & copy items, blankets and bed linens, some fabrics, a huge food court and, of course, so much more.

In the building just behind these two (all are connected by walkways), the 5th floor is my favorite - the stationary market.  Visit for art supplies, stickers, bags, notebooks and pens.... more than you can imagine.

Wuai is a place to bargain.  Don't get lost.
